Meet the Author
Author, Sara Estabrooks, knows what it’s like to live a busy life.
Sara is a Catholic mom.
She lives the stay-at-home, homeschooling life, and is involved in online ministry and evangelization from home.
Sara has discovered: you don’t need to give up your desire to be a Saint just because you feel so “ordinary.”
And she wants to share the journey toward sainthood with you!
What does holiness mean?
“You see, holiness isn’t just for holy cards and halos.
It’s not a still life picture of perfection. Holiness is for the person who marches her way forward every moment of this life, striving for heaven with all her might, with the grace of God to uphold her.
It’s for the woman who fights and falls and gets back up again. It’s for the woman who never gives up in spite of all her shortcomings, because of her great love for God.
Holiness is for saints.
And that means you.”Sara Estabrooks, in Becoming Holy, One Virtue at a Time
One way Sara seeks holiness is through education and practice in the virtues.
- What are the virtues?
- Where do they come from?
- How do we get them?
- What would they look like in your life?
In Becoming Holy, One Virtue at a Time, Sara will introduce you to the Theological and Cardinal Virtues – the building blocks for a life of sanctity.
Drawing on the guidance of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and God’s Word to us in the Scriptures, you will embark on a journey of seeking virtue and pursuing sainthood in the place in life you find yourself right now.
