My takeaway:

#MyMassTakeaway: Make My Day. . Today our pastor said a modern equivalent of St. Paul's idiom, "complete my joy," would be: "make my day." . I just told a friend yesterday that she made my day. She went out of her way to do something kind for me. She brought a smile to my face, and joy to my heart. She gave me hope and wiped away my fears and insecurities. It's just the greatest thing when someone makes your day. And the greatest thing to know you've made someone's day. It creates a special bond between you. . How can we make Jesus' day? What would make a smile come to His face? What would fill His heart with joy? We can go out of our way to do good for Him. We can step out of ourselves, for His sake. We can humble ourselves, give of ourselves, practice love and charity. It will draw us closer to Him. It'll create a special bond between us. And our own hearts will overflow at the fruits of our humble, charitable actions. . My goal today is to "Make Jesus' day." To put that smile on His face. And you know what? That'd totally make MY day, too! . @MySundayBest with @rosiehill425

My Mass Takeaway: It's never too late to turn back to God. Especially if we're on a sinful path in our lives, but it's also true for the little things. It's not too late to restart after a bad morning or to try again after I react badly to a situation. Repent and begin again, for He is generous and abundant in mercy! What was your takeaway from Mass today? And Happy Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux! 🌹 We're wearing 2 floral dresses, a floral bow tie, and a rose pink dress shirt to celebrate of our family patron saint: the Little Flower. 🌹 She has showered us with many roses over the years, and we're so grateful for her powerful intercession! 🌹 Do you have a family patron? #mysundaybest with @rosiehill425 #mymasstakeaway with @tojesussincerely #lazyliturgical with @thecartmarket and @lazyliturgical and we're wearing our matching Little Flower necklaces from @avemariafaithcrafts #faithandflorals #blessedisshe #bissisterhood #liturgicalliving #livingtheliturgy #sttherese #thelittleflower
